eyecon Control Server, Four different versions.

The eyecon Software is a client-server solution and is based on a mySQL databank. With large video walls this databank is usually located on the eyecon Control Server (ECS). With smaller wall configurations it is also possible to set up the databank directly on the netpix controller.

All relevant information for the wall management can be stored and called-up again centrally at the ECS, which allows control of your large screen system from any workstation within the network. All systems and clients have access to this databank, which prevents faulty operation and long reconstruction processes. The databank is located on the eyecon control server (ECS) which serves as the central device for the configuration and administrative control of the complete system. The netpix controller enables the visualisation of any data on the connected projection modules. It is controlled by the ECS and enables the display of any signal sources on the large screen wall. The system has been especially developed for the operation with eyevis rear-projection cubes, but it can also be used with plasma screens, TFT monitors, single projections or other visualisation devices.

Advantages

) The servers from eyevis‘ ECS series were especially tested and certified for usage in combination with eyecon wall management software.

) For standard scenarios the database can be installed directly on the NPX Controller, but if the eyecon software has to manage clients, capture sources, Alarm features etc., we recommend using a separate server to have enough performance available for applications and external sources on the NPX.

) For performance, reliability, and ease of integration, the ECS Range is specifically designed for and validated with the Intel® Server Board through rigorous testing in concentrated computing environments.

) Flexible and easy access to the server is another concern in a space-constrained environment. The ECS addresses this concern through management technologies such as the optional Local Control Panel and validation with Intel® Server Manager. The ECS also simplifies maintenance with the help of optional tool-less rack slide rails and cable management arm, and tool-less assembly and replacement parts including fans, the hard-drive backplane, risers, and power supplies.
